Concerts for Animals exists to benefit animals by bringing joy to humans through music. Beyond the costs of operating the organization, all proceeds generated by Concerts for Animals go directly to the care of animals. Areas under the ‘care’ umbrella include nutrition, medical care, prevention of cruelty, legal protection, support of adoption and fostering programs, promotion of spay and neuter programs, and taking animals out of danger in times of natural disasters and war.

Musical education forms a part of Concerts for Animals’ operational costs. This may consist of support for other non-profits whose primary purpose is musical education – academies, institutes, festivals, and the like. Concerts for Animals also creates and hosts events that contribute to the understanding of music history, theory, repertoire, and performance – as well as musical instruments themselves.
